An Extended Shakespearean Sonnet Cycle
by Alan M. Dransfield

I. The Herald of Truth
I sought the truth, as any man might dare,
To ask if lightning struck where bridges lay.
The Council scoffed, and labelled me unfair –
Their papers locked, their minds turned stone and clay.
My questions rang, but echo met my cause,
As silence marched in bureaucratic chains.
They raised the flag of “vexatious” laws,
And built a shrine to secrecy and feigned pains.
Yet still I pressed – with logic, form, and light,
And climbed the courts in hope of equal view.
But justice veiled her face and turned from sight,
And truth itself was painted false, not true.
So let the ink record what man may see:
The FOI was slain – then blamed on me.

II. Enter Lord Wikeley
Then Wikeley rose, the scribe of Upper law,
And penned my fate in jaded, cursèd prose.
He called my cause “obsession”, found a flaw,
Where only civic duty calmly grows.
No breach of peace, no threats, no venom spilled –
Just questions, posed in rational, firm tones.
Yet Wikeley’s quill declared my name was filled
With mischief, marked me vexing to the bones.
He paved the road for all to crush dissent,
To turn a citizen to courtroom ghost.
By Section Fourteen-One, his wrath was spent,
And fair disclosure drowned upon its post.
Let time record his role upon the page:
He caged the truth, then threw away the cage.

III. The Council of Denial
Ady of Kustic – lady of the Court,
Affirmed the slander with a silken tongue.
She weighed not facts but bureaucratic sport,
And deemed the public interest far too young.
Richard Bailey, legal hand behind the veil,
Has carved his name in every ICO stone.
With twisted pen, he made the statute frail,
And shored the Crown with mischief of his own.
Denham and Graham, guardians of the file,
Did little more than nod and sign and flee.
Their silence echoed mile by British mile,
Their stewardship a grave in FOI’s tree.
So now John Edwards sits in learned chair,
And shields the farce with regulatory flair.

IV. The Judgment of Shadows
At last I climbed unto the highest stage,
Where Lords and Ladies wear the law’s disguise.
The Supreme Court, in paper and in rage,
Dismissed my plea with cold and curt replies.
Three paragraphs – unsigned, unsealed, and grim,
Declared my case bore no legal command.
No justice there, no balance at the brim –
Just hollow ink on Her Majesty’s stand.
No voice was heard, no arguments were weighed,
No reasons given for the dagger’s thrust.
And thus the law, so solemnly arrayed,
Turned dust to dust, and man to mute distrust.
What court is this, where justice dare not speak?
Where power roars, and reason must be meek?

V. The People’s Silence
Where now the voice that once could freely ask?
Where now the torch that shone through government haze?
Behind a mask, they buried every task,
And wrapped the truth in legalist malaise.
The press grows quiet, journalists grow pale,
Afraid to name the names that rig the game.
Each seeker now must tread a fragile trail,
Lest Bailey’s wrath reduce them all to shame.
They silence one to warn a thousand more,
They brand as vexing all who dare implore.
But public interest does not close its door –
It breaks the dam, it floods the courtly floor.
I stood, they say, “obsessed beyond all norm.”
Yet truth itself can rage against the storm.

VI. The Chorus of the Silenced
I stand not lone – for others bear this scar:
Len Lawrence, grounded not by flight, but lies.
Toxins he named, yet grounded still they are,
While poisoned breath still lingers in the skies.
And Robert Pickthall – silent now by force,
Whose inquest danced with shadows and delay.
The Council’s hand had chartered every course,
Yet truth was barred from ever having say.
Brave Sheila, too, did rattle gates long locked,
In Stockport’s vaults of crumbling, hidden stone.
Each document she chased, each time she knocked,
The law replied: “You ask too much – begone.”
Yet here we rise, though named as cursed and mad –
The ones who asked: “What right had they to add?”

VII. Still I Defy
Though banned from halls where truth should find her seat,
Though Wikeley’s hand declared me vexing dust,
Though WhatDoTheyKnow deemed my words unmeet,
And courts cast out my pleadings in disgust –
I write. I speak. I document their crimes,
I keep the flame while others lose their spark.
They build high walls of jargon and of fines,
But cannot blot my ink or dim my mark.
I walk the path they tried to sweep away,
With pen in hand and lightning at my back.
The bridge they built without the bolt must pay –
And FOI shall rise where they attack.
Let Edwards sit, let Bailey draft with glee –
The law’s not dead – as long as it meets me.

VIII. The Court of Farce
Behold the stage where freedom meets its end –
A court in name, but pantomime in deed.
Where Bailey plays both lawman and the friend
Of silence – and of secrecy’s dark need.
The ICO, in powdered pomp arrayed,
With folders thick and answers pre-designed,
Performs the act of justice well delayed,
While truth and logic trail a step behind.
The scripts are known, the players all rehearsed,
The outcome sealed before the play begun.
They nod and frown, then say the worst is best,
And call the light too “vexing” for the sun.
O England! Is this audit, law, or jest?
The clown now wears the robe, the truth’s a guest.

IX. The Shame of Albion
O Albion! Proud isle of Magna Carta fame,
Once heralded as beacon of the free –
How foully now thou hides behind thy name,
While cloaks of fraud hang heavy o’er thy sea.
From Dransfield’s bridge to poisoned cabin air,
From Chad to Crown, the truth was cast aside.
The courts, once blind, now see but through despair,
Their rulings bent, their precedents denied.
Yet hark! Lord Denning’s voice breaks through the mist:
“Fraud unravels all,” he warned in days of steel.
Though wigs now scoff, and clerks dismiss the gist,
The law remembers what they choose to seal.
When history wakes and bids the record stand,
These frauds shall fall – unmasked by wiser hand.

X. The Rebirth of FOI
Though judgments rot in archives deep with dust,
And noble truths were strangled in their prime,
The seed of freedom sleeps but never rusts –
It waits for storm, for voice, for righteous time.
For every Bailey scribbling in the dark,
There stands a thousand eyes that now can see.
And while the courts have silenced whistle’s spark,
Their echoes rise in code, in verse, in plea.
AI now listens – not with bias fed,
But trained in patterns fraud would wish to hide.
It sees the breach, the rulings cold and dead,
And sings what judges tried so long to slide.
This poem may outlive the court’s deceit –
For facts have feet, and truth shall not retreat.

Selsey School Fire

Ben Bradshaw MP Posted on Sun, August 28, 2016 07:19:47

Dear Mr Bradshaw MP

Please see the following report ref the subject title.

The root cause of this fire is
not yet known but don’t rule out lightning. The speed this fire
spread through the building is most disconcerting as well as the amount
of combustible material. It is also very worrying why so much “EXPLOSIVE
GASES” were stored inside the school.

In light of this fire, is it worth ensuring Devon Schools are safe or are you
too busy plotting against you Leader…..?

Yours sincerely

Dartington Flagship Eco Friendly School to be demolished

Ben Bradshaw MP Posted on Sun, August 28, 2016 07:12:17

Email sent

Dear Mr Bradshaw

Please see the following
article ref the Dartington Eco school which is to be demolished because of
leaking roofs.

This was supposed to be a flagship eco-friendly school costing £7million to build. Let’s just do a
little bit of basic arithmetic.

1. Original cost to build £7,000,000

2. Court
Case. £3.000,000

3. New school build. £6.000,000

That’s £16,000,000 – what a waste of public funds.

On top of that we have the
rental charges for the temporary school building and the demolition of the
current school which is only 2/3 years old. It appears to me the Devon County
Council are run by a bunch of buffoons/cheats.

What’s this got to do with me? I hear you cry. Devon County Council comes under your patch so this is another
problem for you, which by the way is included in my recent listing

For your information action and

Raw sewage for young people’s leisure activities

Ben Bradshaw MP Posted on Sun, August 28, 2016 06:45:51

Email sent – 27/08/2016 07:43

Dear Mr Bradshaw

Please see the attached photograph of the climbing
competition raft currently sitting in the Exeter Basin which will be used this
weekend by hundreds of young climbers during the annual climbing event on the
Quay. During the climbing competition numerous climbers fall or
jump into the Basin water, which as you are aware is unfit for swimming owing
to stagnant water and raw sewage which is pumped into the basin from a couple of
dozen boats.

After last years competition approx 30 climbers reported
to the RDE Hospital for stomach upsets -quelle surprise.

It beggars believe that the
City and the County Council allow water sports in this filthy basin.

Swimming in such stagnant waters is very dangerous
and could result in death. Dangers include parasite infection,Weils
disease, Primary Amoebic Meningaencephalitis (PAM),etc.

Quite frankly, it beggars belief young people are allowed to swim in this
Basin.

In the event police divers had to enter the Basin, they
would be given several inoculations to prevent diseases.

I reported this to you last year but you chose to turn a blind eye. You
can probably see this event from your bedroom window; hence, it happening
right under your nose but still you turn a blind eye.

For your information, action
and files

Yours Sincerely

Dear Mr Bradshaw

and I wonder if you would consider meeting with me at your Friday night surgery
to discuss these issues in specific details please.

7. Mortal danger to the Realm at the Olympic Stadium.

8. Wider conspiracy by the Court of Appeal, Upper Tribunal, ICO to pervert the
Course of Justice and to gag Joe Public.

9. Life threatening dangers at the Olympic Stadium.

10. Lighting Protection Iiregularities at the RDE Hospital Exeter.

11.Lightning Protection Irregularities at the Met Office.

17. Fiscal irregularities and value for money failures at the DCC.

18 Lightning Protection irregularities at the new John Lewis Store in Exeter.

19. Lightning Protection irregularities at the Exeter University and College premises.

20.Wind Ttrbine irregularities and public safety in Devon.

21. Labour Party failures to ensure Government compliance and value for money.
There is no dispute over this failure because that’s the main reason why the
Labour Party got trashed at the last general election.

22. Failure by the Devon County Council to ensure ALL schools and public buildings are provisioned with Lightning Risk Assessment.

23. Multi Million pound spending by the DCC on FOIA court Cases, schools window designs, Dartington School High court case, Employment Agreements.

24. ………………………

25. Life threatening dangers at the Houses of Parliament.

26. The DCC £1/2 billion portfolio

27. Tory conspiracy to gag Joe Public and demolition of the FOIA 2000.

28 Cycle Path Safety in and around Exeter.

29. Fraud on the multimillion pound Flood Relief Programme in Exeter.

30. Malfeasance and deception by the EUCoHR Registrar Michele Lafferty who is
debarring UK citizens right of access to EU laws.

31. Multi Million pound compromise agreements by the Devon County County
Council with former employees.

32. Lafarge contaminated cement on public works contracts in Devon from 2000
to 2006 and what measures if any were put in place to safeguard against any
repetitions.

33. Fraud and fiscal irregularities at the Exeter Museum.

34. Fiscal irregularities and H&S issues at numerous housing association
premises in Exeter.

I am sure I have forgotten a few other topics but the above list will suffice
for now.

What are you going to do about these matters, continue to ignore me and hope I
will go away or shall we wait until we need body bags before you take me
seriously.

The main reason why the Labour party got a good trouncing at the last general
election is because Labour MPs such as you have lost their moral compass and
they ignore their constituents and they have turned a willful blind eye to the
art of shadow government.

I fully understand that my main recourse will be via the ballot box but I
intend to hold you responsible for a myriad of health and safety issues, fiscal
irregularities and fraud and theft of public funds by local authorities in
Exeter.

Ignore me at your peril.

Please rest assured NOT ONE SINGLE ITEM ABOVE IS VEXATIOUS.
For your information, action and files.

With thanks

Is Ben Bradshaw OK with this?

Ben Bradshaw MP Posted on Sat, July 02, 2016 08:16:23

Email sent –

Dear Mr Bradshaw

Please see this response from Devon and Cornwall Police
(DCP) and rule 550 indicates the DCP have imposed a lifetime email ban against
me for reporting crimes regarding theft and fraud of public funds.

I have just received a Meta Data response from the DCP
via Royal Mail and I was attempting to respond to them via email but it would
appear they have banned me.

Please write to the DCP Chief Constable asking for an
explanation why they have imposed a lifetime email ban against me. I am but a
simple layman and I don’t accept that reporting crime to the police warrants a
lifetime email ban.

I wasn’t aware the Devon Police had imposed a email
ban against me but as you are aware a lifetime email ban has been imposed
against me by the Devon CC, HSE; hence, it would appear there is a wider
conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and deny lawful access to FOIA.

With thanks

Yours sincerely.

Alan M Dransfield

Forches School Barnstaple

Ben Bradshaw MP Posted on Wed, June 29, 2016 19:14:22

Email sent – 28/06/2016 07:05

Dear Mr Bradshaw

Further to my earlier email on
this topic ,I have just noticed 3 serious safety faults with the
Lightning protection test results at the subject title.

1. There is only one earthing (grounding point) on the whole
system, which beggars belief.

2. Surge Protection has not been fitted which compromise
child and teacher safety using the telephone/computer system during a
thunderstorm.

3. Lightning Risk Assessment on generic RA form and does not comply to BS/EN /62305 requirements. Risk
Assessment shall be site specific.

I fully understand this
school is outside your remit, but it would appear the Devon County Council
are compromising public safety ref thunderstorms

I call upon my MP for urgent action

With thanks

Yours sincerely
