WhatDoTheyKnow Ban Posted on Mon, March 09, 2015 11:55:00

Email sent – 09 March 2015 08:29

Dear Mr Bradshaw

As you are aware, the Whatdotheyknow (WDTK) are a charity receiving
government funding, therefore, they must ensure transparency, accountability and
security of their capital funding.

As you are aware, I have been placed on a lifetime ban by the WDTK……

I request my MP to write
to the appropriate oversight authorities on this matter please.

with thanks

Yours sincerely

Alan M Dransfield.

Will this recipient of charity cash lift the ban?

Hi Ganesh

Thanks for that
and could you please clarify what you mean by” necessary site
features” and by what statue did you rely on to put this ban in place.

With thanks

Dear
Alan,

We have nothing to add to our previous messages on the subject and it is
unlikely we will respond to any further queries on this topic.

If and when we have the necessary site features to lift your suspension
we will contact you.

Dear Sirs

MY LIFETIME BAN FROM YOUR SITE

It has been approx 12 months since you banned me from your
website and I now ask you to reconsider this rather Draconian ban, as I feel it
restrains me somewhat.

If I promise to be a good boy and abide by all you rules,
will you please allow me another chance to use your website?

In the event you wish to continue this ridiculous ban, I
shall complain to my MP that you are breaching charity rules and my human rights.

With thanks
