Attn the Mayor of London and the London Legacy Authority

Dear Sirs

Further to my recent correspondence claiming the
London Olympic Stadium is unsafe and unfit for purpose, please see the latest
photographic images which support my claims that the stadium is a lighting death t rap.

In particular, see the photograph of the men installing the
roof material which is made of PVC.

PVC material is non-conductive; hence compromises the
public safety of the stadium in the event of a lightning strike.

I also draw your attention to the V steel structures around
the stadium. These steel structures should be insulated to protect both the
stadium and the general public from lightning overflash.

In a nutshell, the Olympic Stadium does not meet with the BS/EN
62305 and the Construction Design Management (CDM )Laws 2007.

I repeat my recommendations that this Stadium and the Exeter
Chiefs Rugby Stadium should be closed down and prevented from public use
until a full Lightning Protection Audit has been carried out.

This is compounded even further because 3 out of the 4 risk assessments required under BS/EN 62305 have been omitted. This can be verified
by an ocular inspection of the Stadium Lightning Risk Assessment, which
is in the public domain.

Balfour Beatty and the oversight authorities have no
knowledge of the Faraday Cage lightning principles and are putting profit before public safety.

They have failed to identify and protect the general public
and players and officials using these two stadiums and Ground Potential Rise
(GPR) has NOT even been considered

The PVC roof material will invalidate the Public Liability
Insurance in the event of a Lightning Strike on the stadium causing serious
injury or death.

Lightning protection failures and irregularities are not
isolated to the Olympic and Devon Sports stadiums. It is common practice by
Balfour Beatty on the majority of public funded projects.

The worst case scenario for both stadiums is HUNDREDS OF
PEOPLE COULD BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED IN THE EVENT OF A DIRECT LIGHTNING
STRIKE
.

My advice to any person attending either Stadium and
encountering a thunderstorm is to GET THE HELL OUT OF THE STADIUM AND FIND A
SAFE PLACE.

With thanks

Yours sincerely
